Setting microphone sensitivity
Settings › Voice & Track. Switch to Voice or Track mode, talk at your recording level, and watch the *Level* bar: it should turn green while you speak and drop when you stop. If it stays green in silence, lower the sensitivity; if it doesn't light while you talk, raise it or move the mic closer. The set-up assistant sets a starting value from one sentence.
